Meet the Paperfuge
The video largely explains the concept and the applications of this device, but I'm going to go on a little rant&rave session here.
This. Is. SO. Cool!
I work in a hospital currently, not in any important clinical aspect, but I see all sides of the hospital. One of our biggest complaints, even in our developed country where a majority of the population has easy access to hospitals, is the prohibitive cost of literally everything, even with health insurance. In countries where healthcare is largely inaccessible/unaffordable, this device is revolutionary.
Prakash states in the video that constraints are what allow great design to happen; how else will we move outside of the box if there is no box to begin with?
