The Trash Wheel project is a waterfront cleanup project that the city of Baltimore began in May of 2014, but has recently been garnering a lot of attention

It's no wonder really- just look at those googly eyes. But that's not all thats remarkable about Mr. Trash Wheel, he is powered by the current of the river, and solar panels when the current is not strong enough. Mr . Trash Wheel has removed 1,094,340 pounds of trash since its beginning, including 372,650 plastic bottles, 464,947 polystyrene containers, 8,965,600 cigarette butts, 6,478 glass bottles, 257,337 grocery bags, and 346,149 chip bags.
